TOM WILSON is the chair, president and chief executive officer of The Allstate Corporation. Wilson has been CEO of Allstate since 2007 and became the chair of The Allstate Corporation’s Board of Directors in 2008. Wilson is chairman emeritus of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and also holds leadership positions in the financial services industry and the community. He is a trustee of Rush University Medical Center and has been published in The New York Times, The Washington Post and on CNN.com. Wilson has led a multiyear transformation of Allstate to push beyond insurance. The emphasis has been not only on doing the right things, such as investing in cutting-edge innovation and improving efficiency and productivity, but in doing them the right way – optimizing the pace of change while honoring commitments to customers, employees, agency owners, and communities.
