Lisa Dettling is a Principal Economist in the Division of Research and Statistics at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, where she is part of a team responsible for analyzing the economics effects of fiscal policy and forecasting developments in the federal, state, and local government sectors. Her research is in labor and public economics, with a focus on domestic policy issues relating to families and household financial well-being. Dettling received a B.S. in Economics and Mathematics from The Ohio State University, and a PhD in Economics from the University of Maryland.
