Bipartisan support for new federal funding for infrastructure, research and development (R&D), and direct industry investments reflects a broad recognition that the US must do more to maintain its leadership role in the global economy. As a $1T infrastructure bill makes its way through Congress, this event will consider: How should new investments be implemented to maximize productivity and innovation? What more must be done to promote American innovation and economic security? Are direct industry investments necessary to promote economic and strategic interests?
